How much does CarOkay cost for garages?

Nothing. CarOkay is free for founding garages while we grow the platform — free verified listing, free enquiries, free booking tools, no card required. When paid plans are introduced, founding garages will get plenty of notice and preferential founding-member terms, and nothing is ever charged without your explicit agreement.
How is CarOkay different from BookMyGarage?

Two big differences. First, every booking enquiry arrives with a Claude AI diagnosis attached — symptom analysis, likely fault, cost range — so you can quote accurately on your first reply. Second, the price: CarOkay is currently free for founding garages, while BookMyGarage's Accelerate plan starts at £149 + VAT a month, with attended bookings paid on top.
How does CarOkay compare to FixMyCar?

FixMyCar's marketplace can auto-generate estimates before the garage has seen the job, and some garages report those figures don't always reflect the actual work. CarOkay never quotes on your behalf. You set every price, on every job, after seeing the customer's symptoms and MOT history.
Do I need to install any software?

No. Everything runs in your browser — desktop, tablet, or phone. New enquiries arrive by email, you log in to see the AI diagnosis and reply with a quote. SMS notifications are on the roadmap. No app store, no install, no IT setup.
Will I get my own page on Google?

Yes. Every CarOkay listing is a fully indexed page with proper schema.org markup (AutoRepair, AggregateRating, OpeningHoursSpecification), real Google reviews, opening hours, and your service list. We build it to rank for '[your garage name] [your town]' and pass that traffic straight to your enquiry form.
Can I leave any time?

Yes. There's no contract, no minimum term and nothing to cancel — membership is free. If you want your listing removed, tell us and it comes down. If paid plans are introduced later, joining one will always be your choice, never automatic.
How quickly will I get my first booking?

It varies by location and competition. Garages in less-served postcodes typically see their first enquiry within 7–14 days; in saturated cities (London, Manchester, Birmingham) it takes longer to climb search rankings. Verified profiles with good Google reviews convert fastest.
Do I have to accept every booking?

No. You can decline any enquiry that doesn't fit your bay schedule or expertise. We don't penalise declines, but we do track response time — fast responders get a small visibility boost in search rankings, since drivers prefer garages that reply quickly.
