Terms & Conditions
Last updated 29 May 2026
These terms govern your use of carokay.co.uk, operated by CarOkay Ltd (“CarOkay”). By using the site you agree to them. CarOkay is not affiliated with the DVSA.
Diagnosis & estimates are guidance
Okay’s AI diagnosis, health checks and cost estimates are generated from the information you provide and from data sources such as your DVSA MOT history. They are a starting point, not a substitute for inspection by a qualified mechanic. Always have a fault confirmed before authorising work. We don’t warrant that estimates will match a specific garage’s quote, and we’re not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of a diagnosis.
Vehicle, MOT & insurance data
MOT, tax and insurance information is sourced from the DVSA, DVLA and the Motor Insurance Database and is provided “as is”. Records can lag reality (for example, new insurance can take up to 7 days to appear). Always confirm anything safety- or legally-critical with the official source.
Garage bookings
CarOkay helps you find and contact garages and send enquiries. Any booking, quote, work and payment is a contract between you and the garage, not with CarOkay. We don’t carry out repairs and aren’t responsible for the work, pricing or conduct of any garage, though we want to hear about it if something goes wrong.
Garage accounts
Garages subscribing to CarOkay do so on the published terms — currently £99/month plus £15 per attended booking, with a 14-day free trial and no minimum term. Subscriptions are billed via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time. You’re responsible for keeping your profile, pricing and availability accurate.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful activity, scraping, attempts to break security or rate limits, or looking up vehicles you have no legitimate reason to check. We may suspend access for misuse.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, CarOkay excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
